Thought you might need a little practice. To get that practice we have set up four (4) Office Pools one for the Big East NCAA Basketball Tournament, the ACC, the Big Ten and the SEC.  There will be no charge to enter either of these. The Scoring System & Winning
So, the games are underway, and you are ready to start tracking your progress.  The scoring system is actually quite simple in that you earn points for every game in which you correctly predict the winner.  Each round has a different point value assigned to it.  Here is how the scoring breaks down:  
1 point for every correctly predicted winner in Round 1
2 points for every correctly predicted winner in Round 2
4 points for every correctly predicted winner in the Semi-finals
8 points for every correctly predicted Champion

Tiebreakers
If we do happen to end in a tie for 1st (and to break ties elsewhere in the standings), these are the three tie-breakers we will use:   1) Whoever picks closest total points in final game.   2) whoever correctly picks the Championship winner.   3) Whoever most closely predicts the Total teams reaching the Final.
